Together, we developed a completely new Fairtrade-certified espresso, specifically crafted to suit the taste preferences of Swedish workplaces.
Soul is a harmonious blend of 90% Arabica beans from Central and South America and 10% Robusta beans from India. The result is a coffee with extraordinary character – warm and smooth, with sweet notes of cocoa, nuts and a slightly spicy aftertaste.

The story behind Varesina
Caffè dal 1919
Varesina’s journey began in 1919 with the passion of Enrico Malinverno. It was then that the very first cup of piping-hot Varesina coffee was served from the newly opened roastery in Varese, northern Italy. In the 1950s, the roastery was sold to Balzarini and Vedani, and in 1982 the Maffina family took over the business. Since then, coffee roasting has remained a living part of the family’s proud heritage.
Today, the roastery is run by the second generation of Maffina, who continue to nurture the same passion for coffee and craftsmanship, carefully preserving the exceptional quality of the raw materials.
With over 100 years of experience, Varesina Caffè has become a symbol of quality and authentic Italian coffee culture. Their meticulous roasting has made Varesina coffee a beloved favorite in cafés and among coffee enthusiasts worldwide.
